My grandfather was such a blessing for our entire family. He was quiet and to himself mostly and didn't grow up with his mom so that's probably where that came from. He was a very giving and generous man and always shared with others what he had. He wasn't selfish at all and enjoyed giving to others.
As the word says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I know this because I led my grandfather and grandmother Inez Henriques Allen to the Lord years ago.
